Our Infrastructures

BFSL operates and manages its Freeport Infrastructures (warehouses, reinforced concrete buildings and yards) at the following sites strategically located at the seaport and airport.

Seaport : Freeport Zone 1 (2.5 Ha) at Mer Rouge, Port-Louis

  • Luxshed (5,000 m2)
  • Ex-Flour Shed (7,800 m2)
  • Administration Block (150 m2)
  • Container yard (4,000 m2)

Seaport : Freeport Zone 6 (6 Ha) at Mer Rouge, Port-Louis

  • Warehouses 1, 2 & 3 (15,000 m2)
  • Warehouse 4 (9,000 m2)
  • Open yards / Container park (15,000 m2)
  • Bonded car yard (6,100 m2)
  • Office space (795 m2)

Airport: Freeport Zone 9 (1 Ha) at Plaine Magnien

  • Office space (300 m2)
  • Processing units (3,000 m2)
  • Our Freeport Zone 9 will be decommissioned as soon as our new warehouse is operational in December 2023/January 2024 in the Cargo and Freeport Zone (CFZ) of Airports of Mauritius Ltd (AML)

Our future project at the new Cargo and Freeport Zone (CFZ) of AML

  • Plot area: 1.05 Ha
  • Construction of a new warehousing facility of 3,600 m2
  • Construction is expected to start in June 2023 and completed in December 2023/January 2024
